Our proven blueprint will have you on your way to identifying how you can provide the most value to others by systematizing what you know and getting it into the hands of those who need it most!

Does This Sound Like You?

I know I have knowledge to share and a genuine desire to help others, but I still feel like an imposter. Who’s going to care what I have to say?

I love learning and I’m always looking for ways to better myself so I can help others, but overall I lack the confidence, experience and knowledge of what to do next.

I’m always wondering if I’m doing enough. I’ve never had a mentor, and often feel like a lone wolf. Ultimately I want to do something that helps others and allows me to feel happy and fulfilled with my career but the risk scares me.

I’ve wanted to take the next step for a while now, but I have people that rely on me and I can’t afford to take a risk only for it to fail. I’m just not sure I could pull it off if I made the jump.

I often question if I’m truly making the most out of what I’ve been given and if I’m doing the right things to be successful. I’d simply like to know if I’m on the right track!

Money isn’t my primary concern, I just want to find something that allows me to provide for my family, to set a good example for my future children and to become the best version of myself. I’m just not sure what that is yet.

It’s a frustrating feeling knowing we now live in a world where it seems like those with the loudest voices and the most “flash” are the ones who get seen, heard, and presented with the most unique opportunities.

A time where the ones who keep their heads down, do the work others pretend to be doing, and stay committed to their craft in an ethical way are the ones scraping to get by while not “selling out.”

“Those people” are what we call true professionals.

“Those people” are you.

But here’s the truth…

No matter how good you are at what you do, no matter how hard you work, no matter how much you want to help others, none of it will make an impact if you don’t know how to reach your audience.

Your work won’t make a difference if you don’t know how to communicate your message in a way that resonates with the people who need you and the work you provide the most.

None of it matters if you don’t take the leap and give yourself permission to find YOUR VOICE and build your own platform.

And yes, that means facing some of the inherent self-doubt and criticism that comes with the process of self-improvement and learning.

Trust me when I say I know a thing or two about overcoming criticism and judgment…

I know this because I came up in a profession that strongly identifies with a “servant” and self-sacrificial mentality.

A field where extreme humility isn’t just “good practice” it’s the law.

…At least if you don’t want to risk getting labeled as a “sell-out” or blacklisted by those in power.

From my early days as an intern working for free, through the middle part of my career, the messaging was incessant and firm:

“It’s not about you.”

“Real coaches don’t have social media.”

“In this profession, you are to be seen, not heard.”

“It’s not about the money.”

“We want a coach, not a brand.”

And since these were the phrases echoed not only by an entire community of my peers but also by my early mentors- I bought into them hook, line and sinker.

For a while anyway…

This type of behavior is far too common in fields where scarcity of good jobs is an issue, along with any true way to validate “the worth” of your work.

It’s what happens when your self-image is tied to the wrong things. When you let the tension and anxiety of wanting to prove yourself get the best of you because you know you have more to offer than you’re getting the chance to show.

It’s what leads to stagnation and an eventual lack of fulfillment.

Stagnation occurs when you let fear and insecurity hijack your decisions, your actions, and your work.

When left unchecked, these toxic behaviors create blindspots that derail your career, your relationships, and damage your opportunity to make the difference you were born to make.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

This realization came when I was eventually called out by the very people I thought I was serving, all while doing what I thought I was supposed to do- keeping a low profile and only focusing on the work itself.

One afternoon while training a large group of athletes preparing for their upcoming season, I was asked by an 11 year NFL Veteran why I wasn’t on social media.

I looked at him and regurgitated the mantra that I had heard my entire career up to that point, “because true professionals do the work, they don’t talk about it.”

“Interesting,” he replied while nodding his head skeptically.

“So you don’t think your work has any value except for the people who are right in front of you?”

I was a bit taken aback by his reply since I had never considered it that way.

“That’s not it,” I fired back. “I’m just not egotistical enough to think anyone else really cares what I have to say. Enough people are shouting from proverbial mountaintops already.”

“That’s one way to look at it,” he said. “But those people aren’t you and they haven’t had the same life experiences you’ve had. That alone makes what you have to say unique.”

I had no reply.

The very next day I did something bigger than creating a social media account; I re-committed to writing my own book.

A book that told the story of how I nearly lost my life as a teenager due to communication barriers that led to poor medical care.

A book that told a story I was ashamed of and angered by for nearly 15 years.

A book that numerous “big name” publishers told me nobody would be interested in reading since I wasn’t a household name, because I worked in an obscure industry, and because the story of my drastic weight-loss and hospitalization was “too intense.”

A book that eventually went on to become a best-seller in multiple categories, translated into nearly a dozen languages, adopted by Fortune 500 companies, universities, and sporting organizations alike. A book that sold over 100,000 copies worldwide in its first two years despite being self-published and funded solely by me and my wife’s paltry savings account.

I’d love to tell you that after the success of my first book I received no further criticism, haven’t dealt with imposter syndrome since, and that everything else just fell into my lap.

But I’d be lying to you.

No matter what you create there will always be people your work doesn’t connect with, there will always be mistakes, there will always be setbacks and there will always be critics.

But the cost of doing nothing is far greater than the cost of being wrong.

I still hear the voice of the loudest and harshest critic I’ve ever known every day.

That voice is my own.

As someone who wants to create change, you will always be your own loudest critic. You will always be the most challenging boss you’ve ever worked for.

The boss who says your work is never good enough.

The boss whose expectations aren’t realistic.

The boss who keeps you from submitting your work because you know they are ready to tear it apart the moment they lay eyes on it.

But there comes a time when that narrative changes for all of us.

A time when we’ve had enough of running from or apologizing for what we want.

A time where we learn to turn frustration into fuel.

A time where we learn to make our fear of failure or judgment a tailwind instead of a headwind.

For some, it comes when they lose a job for the first time or after they realize they need a new change, a new challenge.

For others, it comes because they’re tired of going to bed at night wondering if they’re really doing all they are capable of. If they’re actually making the change they originally set out to make when they started in their chosen field.

This tension comes from the desire to make things better. To create value. To contribute and find firm footing.

We’re often told to ignore it. To be grateful for what we have and simply focus on the here and now. But leaders don’t just live for the moment, they think for the future.

Besides, when we ignore this tension, it creates anxiety and restlessness; an environment ripe for the creation of blindspots in our personal and professional development.

What’s a blindspot?

They’re the things that lie just outside our periphery.  Things that keep us from realizing unseen potential.

Things that impede our capacity to see things for what they are and what they could be.

Blindspots cause us to overcomplicate, to lose focus when we need it most, to doubt ourselves and whisper that we might not be on the right path.

Blindspots tell us that neither our part nor our art matters and that whatever we are pursuing can wait for tomorrow.

It’s a form of resistance that keeps us from solving problems and creating more value.

But a blindspot is also representative of our unseen strengths. The things we tend to view as insignificant because they are too obvious for anyone to care about them.

They represent our chance to live the life we want while doing the things we love.

They represent our unconscious level of competence.

They represent “the thing” that, if we can catch in time, provides us with tremendous leverage to do the very work we are meant to do. The work we love doing, the work others need, the work we are in control of.

The catch is that identifying your blind spots can’t be done alone.

It takes trial and error, it takes patience, it takes a community of people you trust and it takes commitment to a process that is tried and true.

A process you now have access to…

My name is Brett Bartholomew.

I’ve written a best-selling book, Conscious Coaching, that’s sold thousands of copies and has been translated into multiple languages.

I’ve produced a podcast that reached a million downloads within the first year.

I’ve established a values-based personal brand and grown it into a thriving company.

It wasn’t easy and along the way, I failed A LOT.

Doing so provided me with invaluable lessons that I now share with leaders from all walks of life so they can get over the obstacles that hold them back. So they can create the life they want on their terms.

Blindspot™ is a curated collection of the lessons I’ve learned and the strategies I’ve accrued- a toolkit to help people at all stages of their careers clarify what makes them unique and transform that superpower into something tangible.

Over the last 15 years, I’ve helped thousands of people across many professions and many countries overcome their blind spots so they can provide value to those that need it the most.

And now I want to help you.

Here’s exactly what you’ll learn inside Blindspot:

The first tactical toolkit of its kind, Blindspot™ will be your guide as you turn what you know into what you do. The Blindspot Blueprint™ is divided into five modules (16 easy to navigate lessons), each packed with immediately applicable material and learning activities.

By the end, you will be equipped with strategies to tackle every step of creating and sharing your unique offering- including discovering personal blindspots, identifying your niche, cultivating an audience, analyzing the market, mind-mapping ideas, pressure testing products, and developing contingency plans.

Module 00

Get Out Of Your Own Way

You can’t be of service to anyone if you’re scared of what everyone says or thinks, (including yourself).

Learn to identify and overcome the behaviors and biases holding you back and uncover your hidden strengths. It’s time to stop caring what other people think, get out of your head and start making an impact!

  • Recognize the self-limiting beliefs and behaviors that have been holding you back from making the impact you want to have
  • Install proactive strategies to identify and overcome imposter phenomenon when it inevitably strikes
  • Pinpoint blind spots and roadblocks as they pertain to you, your audience and your ideas

Module 01

Define Your Superpower

Now that you’ve identified and overcome your unique sticking points, you can double down on what makes you exceptional. We know it may feel weird to admit the fact that we believe we have something of value to share, but when you blend your skills, interests and experiences into a unique value offer you are on the way to building a true competitive advantage.

Double down on the following steps & remember: “If you’re for everyone, you’re for no one.” – Seth Godin

  • Identify the drives underpinning your behavior to leverage strengths and avoid snares in your work and relationships
  • Utilize the “strives” model to optimize collaboration and implementation within your teams and people you lead
  • Distill your unique skills, experiences, areas of expertise, knowledge and stories into your “superpower”
  • Use one of the most valuable tools created in the field of psychology to illustrate where, when and with whom you share information so as to build trust and learn from feedback
  • Apply our 4 Step Fit Framework™ to identify your niche, clarify what you do why people need it from you

Module 02

Speak Truth & Solve Problems

Your message means nothing if no one hears it or if it is scattered all over the place. Get your message across more clearly and watch your loyal community of fellow problem solvers grow.

Don’t waste time speaking to “haters.” Instead, identify fellow helpers through the use of our framework which covers:

  • How to better understand the true needs, fears, and desires of your audience so you can help them make better decisions and overcome barriers to success
  • Getting your message to your target audience without having to become a “social media guru”
  • Using our E.A.R.N. Model™ to connect with your community in a more personal, efficient and rewarding way!
  • Quickly creating and leveraging the most lucrative asset there is for scalable growth- your email list!
  • Speaking to your customers, clients and followers without coming across salesy or cheesy

Module 03

Bring Your Idea to Life

Enough talking – it’s time to make something real. It’s time to get your ideas into the hands of your audience while ensuring your message, products, services, and overall value are both practical and sustainable.

Create work that lasts by:

  • Transforming your unorganized thoughts and content into tangible products, services, and value worth shipping
  • Ensuring you don’t get blindsided by doing a quick and simple competitive analysis on your desired market so you can find where you or your service best fits and stands out
  • Picking the revenue model and business structure that’s best for you based on your financial goals (don’t worry, we make this simple!)
  • Identifying financial blind spots and pitfalls so you don’t lose money unnecessarily in pursuit of your goal

Module 04

Marketing Done Right: Avoiding the Fluff

Your idea has shipped, but the real work has just begun.

Learn how to tweak, refine and test your service once it’s out in the world. We’ll teach you how to make contingency plans and plan for next steps so you aren’t a “one-hit wonder.”

Become a cornerstone in your community for years to come by learning how to:

  • Implement our pre-mortem practice to pressure test your ideas, eliminate biases and plan ahead for what might go wrong
  • Craft an authentic narrative and master the art of storytelling in order to revolutionize how your brand is spoken to, and about
  • Test, tweak and refine your offer in order to stay ahead of the competition and withstand the test of time
  • Plan your next steps, deal with setbacks, and manage expectations once your service goes live
